Cool. Hopefully they've improved their design. I've seen a few of them snap at the weld and the UCA ball joint where out faster than a presidential welcome

Yeah I had the old version and lasted 3 years on my 11. Broke off at the weld and they sent me a new pair for free. These new ones are suppose to be improved.

I've seen a few lifted 4door tacomas around Ocean County so far. Not sure if its any of you guys. I'll be getting my island beach pass in Jan..so beaches are on hold til then. If you guys have any meets or anything soon...lmk

I'm guessing it restarts in Jan? Instead of paying now for a month...I'll get one for 2016.

So it seems my serpentine belt is due to be replaced, getting a bit loud now. Based on research, it sounds pretty easy to replace. Can you guys confirm that it's easy to do?

Assuming so, is there a good place to get a belt locally?..or online? Are there differences in quality of belts?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I replaced one on a guys truck at work. it's not too bad, need to rotate the tensioner pulley counter clock wise by putting a socket on it and basically trying to loosen the bolt, but it will rotate and take the tension off the belt. It's a good idea to have someone to help hold the tensioner and route the belt. Also pull up a picture of the routing on your phone or print it off the internet (not sure if it's in the owners manual) so you make sure you get it back on correctly.

It turned out the belt wasn't making noise, it was an upper idler pulley. We removed it, checked the bearings, then decided to just clean it up and scuff the surface. Now its quiet.

He ordered the belt from rock auto, I think it was "gator" something
