    If OU wins tonight, they win the conference. The bad news for OU is that they don't play next week. (Though, neither does ND.) The damn Big 12 needs to add two teams and get a conference championship game again.

    Hard to argue anything but that IF Clemson and Bama win next week...I believe Bama has the easier game next week though...MSU/Iowa will be a good tough game too

    I don't want any part of OU right now, especially with so much time off before the game. If Clemson wins out, I'm sure they'll stay #1, and assuming we beat FL and win the SECC, we should stay #2.

    SO.... the committee will be placing OU and the BIG champ at #3 and #4. I heard/read that they're not supposed to allow a #3 or #4 to have an "obvious home field advantage." If OU were placed at #3, they would play Alabama in the Cotton Bowl. As a bammer, I would say that that's a pretty obvious freaking home field advantage for the Sooners, since they play in that stadium every single year.

    SO... Hopefully OU will be #4 and the BIG Champ will be #3, and maybe the winner of the Clemson/OU game will be beaten up enough that we have a better shot at winning the NC (assuming we get past the BIG Champ, of course).

    I don't know if all of that made any sense... Driftering a bit over here.

    EDIT: I forgot that the Cotton Bowl isn't played in the Cotton Bowl anymore (now it's in AT&T Jerryworld Stadium), so maybe the "obvious home field advantage" isn't quite so obvious. Still, it's quite a short drive for the Sooners. I can still hope, right?
