Oh I know how it is...lol. Look at Camelback Toyota for the surround...itl be the cheapest. It's where I got mine and pretty much everyone else too who has bought a color match surround.

I picked one up from a sport $129 shipped. Super white off a 2015 used though. How much at camelback?

Front bilstein 5100 with OME 884 w/trim pack, 17" fuel trophy wheels wrapped with 32" toyot open country m/t, bakflip fibermax tonneau cover, Avec 30" led light bar behind lower grille, marathon seat covers in max 5 camo pattern, trimmed front and rear mud flaps, more to come.

Agreed 100%! And the OP saying going with the PRO lift versus any other lift of the same height will not void your warranty. There is a law that protects you from that. If another lift of the same nature provides the same exact number as the pro lift Toyota would be a hypocrite to not warranty your truck just because you did not use trd parts. That like saying Toyota will not warranty a bad engine for not using their oil filters. Yes it's advised but as long as you are maintaining it at the proper intervals and documenting it their is nothing they can do. Unless the used filter fails then it would be on the filter manufacturing company. It amazes me how many people are afraid of voiding a warranty. It's a lot harder than you think. If one place will not warranty work go to another place and if that place doesn't warranty then you wright the big dogs. Like I said it would be hypocritical of Toyota to warranty a lift of the same height from their product but not of another reputable lift company. These other companies do their research and make lifts to specs for the truck specs. I was once one of these people that was scared to do anything to my truck until the warranty was over until I read the law that protects you from using reputable aftermarket parts meaning that is what they are in business for. Now if you end up making your own lift yourself that's not patented and whatnot then that is a different story or some cheap Chinese non reputable company then the same goes. This post is meant for information purposes and by no means taking s hit at anyone. And I do appologize if someone hit on this earlier I didn't read the full 8 pages to find out. Hope this puts some ease to someone's mind. But this doesn't mean to go out and put on a 6" lift and expect warranty work because that will def take your truck out of its regular specs. And for some reason I feel a bashing coming on but it's ok I can handle it and know what and whatnot to do to my truck to not void a warranty. P again I hope this helps in anyway shape or form.

This is the type of lift I may be interested down the road. Anyone know if these shocks are rebuildable?

The 6112 body is supposedly rebuildable by Bilstein, however they will not rebuild the TRD version. Didn't stop me from buying them.

It's all good man. No bashing from me. I have had some really bad experiences with aftermarket parts. (power steering pumps, rack and pinions and sloppy service). Stock parts seem to work better and resell better. And, when the dealer puts the part on, it's an automatic year and 12k miles. I like that. The warranty part, I think you're right. But, I wanted a zero headache option to lift, stay stock and have the dealer do the work.

Also, this is a daily driver. And, I do about 30k miles a year. That's another reason for this set up.

Does anyone have a write up to install the grill surround? How is the grill attached to the surround?

Easy....there are a few screws and tabs going all the way around. I used a thin flat head screw driver to pry the tabs. The tabs along the bottom were the more difficult ones but not that bad. It's tedious so just take your time.

When you go to install the surround, you need to take off the push in snaps and a few screws. I used the same thin flat head to pry up the center of the snaps then squeeze the center and pull em out

Got it. So the surround is held by push in snaps and screws. I'll give it a shot.

Yup....all those screws come out. I used a very thin flat head to gently pry all those tabs. If I remember correctly the tabs along the bottom ( as your looking at it from the front) were the most tedious.

I actually broke one of the bottom tabs myself the first time I did it.....it really didn't matter though because it's still held together pretty securely.

You bet.....just take your time.....you'll see how until you get used to messing with it....you'll unclamp one side start on the other and a clamp or 2 that you just did will resecure on the first side

Lol. Sounds tedious. Might just saw off the chrome off the pro grill and pop the white one in.
