yes but I can't see it being to hard to make work while under speed. A simple code is probably all it needs.
figure how many cars that have DVD players etc work at speed. They usually have a wire that goes to the hand brake. all it takes is find out if it is a normally closed circuit or normally open circuit to work and then do that to the wire.

My RNS 510 nav (VW navi) doesn't usually let you enter addresses while driving or run the DVD part because of the speed governor. All it took was changing that 5km/h speed limit and changing it to a 200km/h speed limit (wouldn't let you go higher than 200 on the drop down menu)

I'm curious when will someone fool around with entune and figure it out. If I had one I'd be doing this already lol.

I work at a Lexus dealer and I know one person had an issue with her text messages and the issue was that there were too many text messages stored on her phone. She deleted the unneccessary messages and it worked as designed

Well that could be ... too many texts. Mine works perfectly, but I backup and archive my phone once a month and delete all my texts as they were backed up. I hope this gets figured out, I use the Play option all the time for listening to texts and use the shortcuts for answers. I don't want it to quit if I have too many texts.

I was getting the same options, I was not able to read the message, the only opinion i had was ignore. If you turn on the truck, let your phone link up, then turn off the Bluetooth on your phone for 10 seconds and let it reconnect it should let you read the messages.

This was my problem, had thousands of emails. Removed email account from phone, then it worked properly. Added email account back to phone (synced last 3 days instead of all), still working.

Yesterday I figured out where the bug is. If I have one quick number on the dash (or none) my messages works perfectly. If I have 2-4 full the Messages app malfunctions.
I have an appointment to report this, this weekend.

I tried this when I got home and it "solved" the issue on mine as well. I'm glad you figured it out because it has bothered me for a while. Hopefully, when you take it in this weekend they can get a fix. I really liked having the quick contacts on the home screen. Thanks again for sharing.

Glad to help. I suggest people report this to Toyota as I am this weekend. It's the only way it will get really fixed.

You have to go in to your Bluetooth settings and turn on "Show Notifications".

confirmed this is the issue. I recently changed that part of the home screen from quick contacts to a big clock because I kept accidentally dialing people when I reached for the volume knob. now suddenly the reader option when I receive a text works perfectly.

I would assume they can fix this pretty easily with a software update. although I probably don't care anymore, since I like the big clock.
