Damn. Metallica and Godsmack would be one hell of a concert.

I've been listening to a lot of the Godsmack and Metallica's self titled CDs this week. I have doubled my music collection in the last 9 days .

    Proudly at 8GB.

    Yep.

And its a 2GB. I just have Itunes make a random playlist of my top played tracks/artists and update my ipod weekely. I only use my ipod when I'm working out or doing yard work so it keeps me pretty happy.

My recommendation is: If you can listen to it for free, go ahead. But don't expect to get that period of time in your life, back.

But there is hope! I've heard that their next album hearkens back to good Metallica. We'll have to wait and see, I suppose.

Yes they do. I have seen them 6 times on concert. It is one of the few concerts I will pay a lot of money for better seats. I was 4 rows back for their last show around here.

Agreed, Faceless was a better album. The first time I saw them was at a free concert being put on by WAAF in Boston back around 1997.

I went that concert when they were touring together. Metallica played like three songs from their St. Anger album before playing their stuff the rest of the concert.

I thought Godsmack was better, but I am biased because I am from MA and have followed them since the beginning.

Agreed. Everything after the Black album kind of went downhill. There are some ok songs from the Garage, Load Re-Load, and S&M albums.

Yeah, the only reason I bought S&M was for the song No Leaf Clover, but it isn't bad. Just not my first pick on the old iPod...
