20" wheels?

Anyone ever try to stuff a 20" wheel on their ride? My brother bought a 2015 Sport and is convinced he wants to put 20's on it. He asked me what mods he's going to need to do to make them fit and I don't have a clue. I told him I'd ask the experts and get some details for him though .

I'm sorry to be the one to say this but it might be time to pull the plug and put your brother down. Anything over 18 is just a little ghetto IMO, I wouldn't even go 18. These are tacomas, not el caminos in a rap video.

I'll actually answer your question, you could technically fit 20s on stock suspension depending on how wide they are, but you'd have to have really small tires. It would look weird but it's his truck not mine, haha.

 

Trust me fellas we'be already had "the talk" haha. I told him it would look ridiculous but it's his truck not mine.

 

There was an "XSP" package that came with 20" wheels. Search for that and find some info.

 

Look for narrow 20s if hes serious. Its gonna be more about the right offset. 10 inches wide is gonna be best

 

just go with 18s

Enkei 20" wt4 ,came with the xsp package.am thinking bout selling them and get some trd pro wheels.

 

The setup I am running are Fuel Nutz 20x9.5 with 295/55/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers(almost 33's), I also have a 3" lift. Bigger wheel doesn't necessarily mean "rubber band" tires. I have gotten so many compliments on my stance and wheels/tires. To each their own, but I love the big wheel and aggressive tire look. 1st pic is of my black '14 and the others are of my '15. Sold the black 2014 and replaced it with a white 2015, with the same lift, wheel, and tire combo. Couldn't deal with black paint any longer
