    TO-DOS:
    • Replace driver & passenger front wheel bearings (received)
    • Remove passenger CV and install new boots (recieved)
    • Install new OE F*CKING M alignment cams on passenger side (just need rear)
    • Shorten Tie Rod End Extensions by 1/2"
    • Call Total Chaos on Monday to see about fixing driver side LCA
    • Install Pelfrey Blue Seas mounting plate (ordered)
    • Clean up rats nest and wire up Blue Seas (recieved)
    • Wire up and mount ARB Compressor (recieved) :yay:
    • Fix rattling cat
    • Replace gas cap that keeps throwing CEL
    • Get a real alignment and tack the cams
    • Wash/clay bar/seal/wax truck for winter prep
    Truck is all put back together.... minus a pin holding in the rear of the LCA lol... I messed around with my compressor some more. I need to make a mini heat resistant hose for it that will run into the back of the cubby. @northwesttaco how did you make your hose heat safe?

    Retorqued everything since it was hand loose :eek: It's a real pain in the ass to retorque the uniball because you have to move the CV out of the way...

    Also I need your guys advice... I can't figure out why my cat is rattling... must be the heat shield but the bolts are so corroded I cant tighten it more. Think I should lay a few tacks between the two pieces of heat shield? I HATE the sound of it rattling... especially when I'm trying to talk to the pretty gal at the coffee stand in the morning and it echos off the wall :frusty:

    Its not necessary. I've seen people coat hanger them on, i've seen people punch the bolts out with a screw driver and throw the heat shield away. Both fix the problem.

    My buddy's 4cly has had no heat shield for 2 years now...and they're the same cats as our trucks.

    There is a heat shield above it bolted to the body...the heat shield on the cat itself is primarily to protect it from starting fires when parked in tall grass or weeds...

    Is it necessary? Probably.

    But are emissions necessary? Probably not, global warming is already in full force. We fuct
