If they're built right they're very strong. I'm a fan of the hybrid sliders (combination square and round tube) myself. That's the style I build.

I've seen hybrid bumpers but never heard of hybrid sliders. So much for me to learn about.

 

Should I get longer u bolts or are these good? Reason I'm asking is I'm picking up OME shocks from @Rashnu and since I'll be underneath the truck....... Also I can pick the ubolts up from Autozone/Oreilly right?

So last time I gave my truck a look over was about 2 weeks ago. During a check today I found this. Looks like an excuse to take a day off from work and get rid of the sway bar anyway.

 

What shocks/coils are you running up front? Does look like a great reason to ditch the sway bar

 

I have OME 882 coils and their sport shocks.

 

Should be fine with no sway bar! Plenty stiff

 

Yeah, plus I don't race car on the street so it should be ok.

 

@nelson18matt So my fat ass got inspired by those cal strength videos and I got a squat rack from craigslist for a decent price. Not in this picture but I also got some bumper plates. My daughter uses the bands to help rehab her shoulder.

this bad boy has been sitting in my garage since late july or some shit... scored it on craigslist for super cheap. been saving up for my wedding so haven't been able to put any money into the garage gym but i'll get it done soon.

Anyone selling an avid light bar?

 

So I might have an opportunity to get my hands on a s&w 38spl airweight revolver. Not sure if that's what I want for my daily carry or go with the xds. It's too hard to decide haha

 

for an everyday carry revolvers are great

 

I have a Taurus revolver now and it's not a bad gun it's just so damn heavy. The airweight is so light I feel it'd be a great carry weapon. But now I'm down to only 5 rounds instead of 7-9 and no extra mags to carry

 

I always go by... if I need to reload, I need to reassess before engaging.

The air weights have or can have the notch to hold them on your belt or pants w/o the need of an additional holster reducing weight and bulk even further.

 

Still wont be as thin as the XDs due to the cylinder. And personally.. I'd rather carry the alloy revolver over the airweight. Polymer wheelgun... Not for me. But thats just personal preference.
