    Dude. Chains. Ugh. So, my sister in law bought a Ford Edge (bro in law is a ford fanboy), shes taking all 4 sisters and my 6 months old up to Tahoe in like 2 weeks...argument over the weekend, her dealer stock tires say good in mud/snow and she thinks she doesnt need chains. My argument, those dealer STREET tires, need chains in snow and you NEED to fucking get them before my wife and child travel with you. Bro in law's comments- Its cool man, its AWD.

    Toyota chasing toyota and ranger. Yes, the motor moves, it's on poly mounts. Still up in the air if I want to go delrin or not, haven't had any issues "yet" on poly but... Yes, the chassis has some flex still, it's gotta survive one more race and then the motor will come out and I can address it more. Learning on the fly while having fun on the way!

    I've been DD'ing my truck fully caged for years and has over 60K miles since LT. Just made a trip to Glamis, drove there, did about 100 miles off road, drove all the way home. I guess I missed the memo that you can't DD once LT or caged :rolleyes:

    Next time I'm out I'm going to see what the RPMS are on our truck at 65 on the lake bed with 6.0's in OD on 35's... I'll bet they aren't as high as you guys think. DD on 6.0's... I'm not advocating that at all. But saying I think people are freaking out over a difference of a couple hundered RPM. I used to drive from Northern Az to Glamis, Ocotillo and baja on 33's with 5.14's running 70-75 in my old toyota without issue. 5 speed manual...
