    That's the legit way to do it (for ice racing, you would eat them up on pavement even though they are carbide)

    They also make screws for motorcycle tires, again for ice only. They aren't long enough to penetrate the carcass though.

    Personally, instead of spiked tires, I'd suggest worn tires with the steel showing. Then add a little water an do a burnout on the backs of those you hate.
