USAA should take good care of you. They did me right last December when my F150 was totaled.

Have no idea why but the speed limit on my street is 25 mph. At my last post it was 15. Was surprised when we moved in last week and now my concern has materialised right outside my door. Fortunately no kids were hurt.

I lived on base for one year 25 on base near housing 15. I rode my bike most of the time. It was faster.

Right?? Speed limit here for base housing is 15mph and hell hath no furry like command cadre's wife if she sees you approaching 12mph whilst she tends to her children.

Awesome, this is gonna be good.

Sorry about the truck though, I'm sure it'll all work out!

Have you talked to the insurance company to see if they will total it? If you want to keep it or buy it back it might not be bad! Frame might not be damaged, check out if the rear door gap at the c pillar is off or if c pillar is damaged (labor is not cheep on c pillar), see if the rear axle just broke out of the leaf center pin or if the axle is still in the center pin location and the leaf is bent you might have frame damage and or maybe just the mounts that are riveted on the frame might be bent.
The bed side is like a fender and can be individually replaced from the composite bed, you can check out to see if the composite bed is not cracked! The bed box is anywere from $600- about $1000 used and the bed side is a few hundred. The axle can be damaged if it was hit just right, worst case you can find one for $500- $800 probably. I've seen rear axles go for even as low as $300. I know of one in Auburn CA that might still be for sale cheep

Looks totaled to me! I had something like that happen to my 12' I was driving and a kid was texting and driving and hit the side of my truck, all the air bags went off. I would be surprised if its not totaled. Make sure to do your research and fight to get what you want, the insurance wanted to give me $10k less than what trucks like this sell for.. I fought and got what I wanted and then some. Take the parts you want, don't waste any time, cause those extra parts don't add value

Yup, depends on the insurance co., my sister got hit by someone and the insurance totaled her car but didn't want to give her enough to buy a new car or fix hers. Most companies will try to benefit from the situation! I would take all the parts off too, if they wount let you it's still your truck till you sign off the title to the insurance company ! Have a body shop or a tow yard if you know anyone who is willing to let you do that pick it up. If they don't let you take stuff of don't leave it in there too long! If they total it and offer you $$$, a Taco it's more than KBB private party! Look at market value not KBB

    TRD WHEELS AND BF'S,
Bingo! Exactly, I recall looking back now, My truck went from the tow yard to a body shop, Knew the guy from my line of work at the bodyshop, He gave me a lot of advice on how to handle it all. Wishing you luck reach out if you have any questions. One thing insurance companies hate is someone that has taken the time to research and knows their shit

I have no idea about this stuff. "Buying back" sounds a bit intense to me as I wouldn't know what to do to get it fixed up and feel I'd be taken advantage of at the repair shops (I can do some DIY myself, but am not knowledgeable enough to do heavy duty repairs).

Based on your experience, what advice would/could you give me? Should I pursue having them total it?

Does anybody happen to know if there is any 2015 stock still available?
