    i hate to be that guy but that is not bailin wire. bailing wire is actually twin that is used to bail hay either in round or square bails. that looks to be electric fence slick wire or possibly some stripped aluminum electrical wire like what runs into the breaker box from the main feed, but either way it looks super classy and safe

    i didnt even think about cardboard, but i have lost a lot of blood this mornin, i forgot my phone at home so i have no pics, but i did eventually get a handle carved out of some old hardwood flooring for the machete i found last week ( lots of tape band aids butterflies and newskin later)
