Remember people, these are just Toyota trucks. There are dealers who will negotiate, even in so cal. In a month or two they'll be sitting on the lots.

 

I wish you were right. I'm disabled. No more nice paycheck coming in every two weeks. I've taken a shit load of exams (even IQ exam!), tests, medical doctor statements after examinations, optometrist exam, filled out multiple CA DMV documents, and last I finished a hospital based adapted driving program. Now I wait for the CA DMV to process all this, then they will have me show up at a special office and interview me. If I pass the interview, they'll give me a learners permit. Then I go back to them, take the written test, then the driving test with an 'adapted' car, and if I pass, I get my license back.
The upshot is: I can barely afford the Tacoma I'm going to buy. But I just don't see any correction coming to to the '16 Tacoma market for a long time.
By the way, I had a doctor caused stroke 4 years ago. I turned in my CA driver license after telling the DMV that I had a stroke. Moral of this story: Don't ask, don't tell.

That's awesome! Glad you got what you wanted. And sounds like it was a great vacation too. I've made that trek from the Southeast to Cali and back a number of times. Plenty to see and lots of places to visit.
