Undercover bed topper, Nerf style step bars, Python alarm, Ham radio with 250 watt amp and chrome wheel well bling.
So how do you change to HIDs? Is it a bulb swap with the OEM headlights? I know you have to add a ballast. Is the wiring just swapped out? Is the factory wiring on a 08 able to handle HIDs?

Has anyone done a write up on doing this mod? I couldn't find one as a sticky.

    Thanks y'all

05+ Tacomas use an H4 head light bulb.... You can look on EBAY for an H4 HID Kit. This kit comes with everything you need to do a full HID conversion. The kit comes with 2 ballats and that plug in to your factory light harness and 2 H4 hid bulbs that plug in to your factory light housing.... Also keep in mind that with the HID kits you get what you pay for... I would recommend you get a Dual Beam Kit (Means you have high & low beam light) made my McCulloch or Phillips available at www.xenonpros.com they have both kits at good prices with plenty of Kalvin ratings to chose from.
