Help with audio upgrade suggestions

My budget is $200 and I just want a decent little kick for my 2002 DCSB.

Ideas?

Yeah you definitely should save more if you plan to keep adding upgrades. If you never plan to spend more than a couple hundred, you could probably get a head unit and maybe have enough left for some door speakers. I'd go with a head unit over anything else though. That alone should be a pretty significant change. Add new components and it will sound even better.

 

A head unit would be the only item worth spending money on at this point. I've noticed the stock speakers in the 2nd gen's aren't that bad (not sure on 1st gen's). The majority of stock units however are garbage. What all are you wanting to include? Speaker upgrades, subs, etc.?

You're going to want to save more money for a sub. Not to mention, you'll need to purchase an amp. I wouldn't waste money on those "all in one" slim profile sub(s).
