    Isn't the dead period soon? I know Richt was saying he was supposed to be on the road for 14 days straight starting like next week. I would imagine he would have to come in and try to keep as many recruits/talk to some of his Bama recruits and try to get them to flip.

    I mean, he probably plays a big part in where The kid goes. Not as big as his parents, but he's probably a close second.

    It could also just be an attempt to take some pressure off the kid. He probably has everyone with a Twitter account tweeting at him asking him if he's staying or if he's leaving.

    Edit: I trust Saban will handle things expeditiously, but, that's a LOT of key guys...

    Dude, don't worry about Smart's recruits. If they'd rather go to a school that just turned over it's coaching staff than come to the machine that's hitting on all cylinders, that's fine.

    Nothing has happened with Lane yet, but I don't know anybody who expected him to come back next year anyway.

    I'd welcome Jeremy Pruitt back to Alabama. If we get him (and soon), it'll be like nothing changed.

    Wouldn't surprise me at all if Lane stays. He has some good QBs to develop and really make an impact.

    I'm warming up to the guy and it looks like the players have a lot of fun with him. I think that goes a long way because they're playing a lot looser starting last year, like they're having a good time kicking ass rather than trying to be 100% monsters.

    The only thing I question about L.Kiffin at this point, is the lack of development on the QB spot. Coker still seems a bit lost at times. Maybe that is on Coker. I just remember Kiffin being touted as an insanely effective and successful QB developer.
