Are you guys planning to replace your battery or run it as a secondary?

What kind of stuff would be run that would require said upgrade? I don't believe I'm in need of one, but I'm interested in the idea for potential future needs

a winch would be the main reason..

a winch can drain a battery, and id rather have it drain a backup battery than the primary one.

Had a red top in my Xterra. The alternator died on a trail. Battery alone got me ~30 miles... on "fumes". No doubt in my mind a lesser battery would have had me stranded.

I'm about to do this project in the next few weeks or months. Here's the schematic I put together if that helps you. I'm still gathering the supplies.

I've downloaded each of your schematics every time you updated them [stalkerish]and I've combined them with a few others I've seen, we seem to have the same needs....
I was talking with Bamatoy too, he seems to not like the Bluesea gear, but it's in the right pricepoint and is known to get the job done.

I guess if I'm being stalked for info, I'm somewhat on the right track. I like the Bluesea gear as well. I didn't really pick it for the price point, just after researching it, they just seemed to have their act together. I like the simplicity of their designs

    **UPDATE!**

The vendors are taking forever to get back with me on this. So I decided to take a step further.

I contacted Optima directly, I've had responses, we will see where this goes.

I contacted Northstar directly, they are definetly interested, we will see where this goes.

I know some of you guys have brand preferences, if BOTH companies provide discounts for a group buy, I will let you guys choose which brand name to go with.
