    I loved driving a manual. Didn't mind it in so and go traffic either. Only got an auto this time because i didn't have time to wait for the perfect truck.

    If i want to rip through some gears ill just jump on my bike

    Sliders, rear bumper, front skid, lifted
    Tell me about it. Seems my truck is stuck in 4wd currently, and it seems to be electrical. Not too keen on following wiring to test for issues. Although I think my problem can happen with a j-shifter too, since I'm pretty sure it's the ADD actuator. So unless you're got manual hubs and a j-shifter, you've got electrical b.s. to worry about.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    On the early ADD Tacomas you have something far more annoying for the ADD actuator, vacuum. So you have to check the vacuum tank all the lines and check valves. Bleh, there really aren't too many super simple setups anymore. I like my manual hubs and j-shift though, and I guess I would probably do fine with vacuum ADD.
