It has to be almost perfectly level or it gets stuck on the Pilot bearing. Did you remember to remove the dust cover from the bottom?

You will need to scuff the chrome at least and tack cloth it. With any kind of body work, the more prep put in, the better it will look.. There is a link somewhere on TW about a mail order kit. Comes with the primer and everything needed. I think it ran about $40 but others have used it with good results

Sweet thanks for the help! Ideally I would like to do a mesh like satoshi but I know for a fact I do not have the ability to do this myself. And paying 450 for one on TW is most likely out of the picture.

I'll trade you my color matched grilk with mesh for your grill. Just needs a fresh coat of paint from some rock chips. I painted it myself like 2 years ago...

find a used one and learn how to use fiberglass or epoxy. Time is the only constraint there. The materials are not too bad. certainly cheaper than paying someone

I thought for the longest time I would go satoshi. Then when I got my new pelfrey front clip I decided against it.

For those of you on the book of faces Expedition Overland is doing a contest for a free set of General Tires of your choice. All you have to is sub to the YouTubes and like/share.

If you don't know what Expedition Overland is you should be shaved, sterilized and destroyed.

    I KEED :)
