My dad picked up a 2016 Tacoma Access Cab TRD-offroad 4x4 on Oct. 16, 2015. Apparently Servco Mapunapuna told us that we picked up the first TRD-offroad 4x4 access cab on the island.. My truck is in the middle, my cousins is on the right, and my dad's is on the left. He told me I was in charge of the mods! well, here we go! He said all he wanted was lights, exhaust and tint. It won't stop there though.

HID Headlights, LED Fogs
I changed the front plate to this black one until the real hawaii plates get in. Didn't want the white paper plate on there.


LED Map lights and Dome Light


gave her good polish with this great hydrophobic wax


Changed the exhaust to a Flowmasters 40 Series Delta Flow with dual tips



changed his media screen to his U.S. Marshal Badge


Tinted the windows. 5% back and 35% fronts

 

Looking good. Btw how did you change your background pic on the entune screen

 

Basically, from your computer, you have to make 2 folders with 2 specific, case sensitive names on a thumb drive. Put up to 3 pics that you want in each folder. Then plug it into the truck. Go to settings, then general, then change startup image, and change screen off image. And upload to there. Let me get you the actual page number to the instructions in the manual.

You know the higher past 5000K you go in HID's like that, the lower light output you get?

how much did it cost for that exhaust setup from ESH.

 

How do the HIDs do as High Beams? It takes them a few seconds to warm up doesn't it?

the stock exhaust is set up practically the same as the 2nd gens. So he said it cost the same as the 2nd gens. about $600 for this flowmaster setup

luckily, the 2016 3rd gens have separate low beams and high beams now. so my high beams are still halogen. and yes, the HIDS do take time to warm up, so they're not recommended for high beam usage

the Fogs and low beams are both H11 bulbs! thank you toyota for making it super easy!! It's also very easy to change both fogs and low beam bulbs. they can be accessed right from the top of the engine compartment without unbolting anything.

Hey man. Did you have to name the photo anything specific? I'm having a tough time trying to transfer mine to the truck. I've tried what the manual says, but no luck so far. Any advice is appreciated!

Just got these installed! Purchased tailgate letter inserts from Rrentrops. This would be impossible to install without the water and soap mixture! Where did you get the HIDs from? i got the 6k from Raqce Factory
