    No they are 3 states away,and the reason I went with them in the first place was I got the truck for $199 over invoice.

    Looks like I need to be patient. Ordered 11/7 w/$500 deposit. Received an allocation VIN on 11/21 (Mex truck). Sales woman told me that it's in the pipe-line and we are on track for mid-December. However, I've heard nothing since then (no actual VIN or build date). Judging from others' responses here, I may be waiting longer than mid-December!:(

    Today(12/2): This was a note from the dealer:
    Unfortunately the vehicle is in "limbo" right now. We see that it has been built and should be on its way to us but we don't see any ETA or the vehicles exact VIN.:((

    12/3 update: Got this: Location Date BC:11/30 Do I assume that this is the build date?:oops:

    It's an hr away but with my busy schedule at work and getting things in order for a cross country move in 2 weeks I haven't had the time. If they didn't give me such a great trade in plus selling me the new truck for $500 over invoice I'd have taken my deposit back and purchased after my move. It would cost me over $3000 more buying in Az.

    I got a call from a different dealer today ,who I was originally fishing with for the truck I wanted,but they wouldn't budge on price,The sales lady must be really hungry because she knows I've already ordered from another dealer but this is the 3rd or 4 th time she has called to see if I got a truck yet,I wish my f-ing salesman had her drive.Anyhow she was looking for any allocation that she could get just in case I pull the plug with the other dealer,she saw my build package,mumbled,ah its the Baja plant,and there in lies the problem,its the Baja plant,she wasn't at liberty to say what the problem was but supposedly they have the parts they need to start production again.I heard this same story almost a month ago.Way to go Toyota,I'm waiting almost three months to get my truck because mudflaps were on backorder.

    I sure hope we're all not waiting for these builds because of some mudflaps are backordered! You'd think it would make more sense to build the damn trucks and ship these out afterwards? Even if we had to go back to the dealers to pick them up it would be better than this BS!

    I reserved one from my dealers allocation in the first part of Nov, they gave me a temp VIN and a build date of 11/21. I had Chris check the VIN and build date was the same, with delivery mid DEC. I just got the permanent VIN today, and they said it is in freight and delivery date is sometime between 12/7 and 12/11. So if this turns out to be true you may see yours mid Dec.

    Only way i could get my hands on a 6 speed manual submitted my order 2 days ago their best guess is first week of Jan man its gonna kill me to wait that long but cant complain too much when you factory order it just for you haha. The dealership even offered me a 2k extra discount to buy one of the Autos on the lot and i turned it down! cant believe everyone wants a damn automatic

    MGM TRD Off Road 6 speed Manual pretty much every option minus the premium tech package

    well since i ordered it they havent given me an ETA so who knows they could be blowing smoke out their ass

    whats typical wait time on these things? i know they have been out for a few months now so hopefully that means things are rolling faster but who knows plenty of autos out there just toss a manual out there and ill take it!
