I have nothing against silver... please don't attribute the ex's comment to me. Personally, Black is a DREAM to me !

has nothing to do with the ex:notsure: it's personal experience. My first taco was bsp and it drove me crazy enough to trade it. I was always washing and waxing that thing but it was so frustrating that the very next day, you could hardly tell. I had no idea what i got myself into. For people who like spending LOTS of time detailing vehicles, blacks great.

I'm obsessive about my vehicles so it's nothing for me to Quick Detail my cars very frequently, in between washes. I was even bold enough to put 18-spoke white wheels on a MINI Cooper, knowing they are brake dust machines and that car was my daily driver. Wiping down those gorgeous wheels was a labor of love every day. So, just a matter of how you perceive taking care of the appearance of your vehicle. For me, black paint is the best option because it shows off my passion the most.

solid advise guys. this just gives me more to think about. I didn't realize black was so hard to deal with. im definitely hard on trucks and typically don't hesitate to squeeze down a tight trail full of branches so I might reconsider black. but I might just pull the trigger and get used to washing and waxing every sunday!!! il let you guys know. it will most likely come down to what the dealership can find me!

My colors are back, white and grey for cars. I bought grey becuase it was only color on the lot. Glad I didn't have a choice because my last 2 cars were black and grey allows me to be lazy with the cleaning. So I'm pretty happy with it.

When my wife and I spoke to the local Dealer/owner we discussed colour. I liked blue and really preferred it over all other colours. Wife hated the orange but loved the MGM. After several minutes of discussion I finally just told the dealer to order either the blue or the MGM.

Three days later I asked the dealer which colour he ordered. He ordered the MGM.....see he is happily married as well. Turns out I do like the MGM and the Tacoma I am driving is a great truck.

mgm is a nice color. Again its dark, so have to keep up with it. The rarest color locally here seems to be pyrite mica.

I like the light bar in the grill, it makes it look MUCH smaller.

Black really is a nightmare. So tempting but just not worth the headache in my opinion. I went for quicksand cause it's new and unique. I wasn't sure about the quicksand till I saw it in person but I honestly could of settled for any of the colors in the OR trim. If I got a Sport it would be white no doubt. My least favorite in any trim would be the MGM.

My 2016 is MGM and my 2011 was gray also. OP just have to make up your own mind about the color you like best. Nobody can tell you which one to get because in the end you have to be happy.
