my buddys truck had the same problem. you can pull the ABS 1 and ABS 2 fuses and it wont do it any more. problem is you wont have ABS while they are unplugged. you can do this until you can get some one to diagnose it for you

hmmm... to me if you pulled both the ABS 1 and ABS 2 fuses, it would disable the ABS

Both fuses pulled. ...does not stop the rear wheels from pulsing like the brakes are being applied and released.....could it possibly be the traction control?

Traction control operates through the ABS. Was the front also pulsing before the fuses were pulled?

No pulse on front ....Just rear...it does this with and without the 2 ABS fuses..
Thanks for the clue about the traction control!

It's not ABS related, and unlikely to be brake related. On turns you're getting lateral pressure, which is causing something to rub or grid back there. My first suspicion would be loose lug nuts.

    Copy

Is there anything the tires could be rubbing on - broken leaf spring, etc..?

Are you 100% sure the problem is in the rear? Diagnosing problems from the driver's seat is often difficult. Vibrations travel through the frame in funny ways. There is more that can go wrong in the front of the truck - the rear is pretty simple.

Regardless, with the ABS fuses pulled, it can't be ABS/ TRAC related.
