    I didn't remove the dust cover, never have before (different trucks) and the service manuals don't say you need to.

    It has to be stuck on the pilot bearing, the transmission is out about an inch. It spins freely, just not budge out.

    I think I am to the point I need another set of hands and eyes to get this done. Clutch should be here by 10am.

    Anyone available to help? Will buy pizza and beer!

    You have to remove the front flywheel dust cover on the trans also I would suggest putting a jack under the front of the motor on the pulley just to stabilize it while you pull the trans off it will help if its binding on the pilot bearing, I would help but I work until 4pm

    Some stuff here and there....
    Well this happened yesterday. Lugs rusted on the studs and while she was driving they came off. Luckily she was in her work parking lot turning into her spot when the wheel came off and the truck dropped. So replaced the plug nuts and new studs checked calipers and rotors are all good. Going to replace all the other studs and such. But I got lucky it wasn't bad and she is ok.
