Any room next to your tent to put a hoist in the garage?

I could put it up in the garage but im not sure if i would want to. The side the RTT is on (also the trucks side) is fine. But the other side is more my "working" side of the garage and Im not a huge fan of having something over me if im in the garage working. Plus id have to add mre lights and move lights around to have it fit.

I do want to build a shed probably this spring so i might try to incorporate something into that. The biggest thing is having it so one person can put it on and off

Anybody run up Van Epps in the snow? I'm assuming there's snow over there right now. Got a house in Kachess for the weekend and was thinking of heading out for a little wheeling in the area on Saturday. If anyone else wants to join in they are more than welcome.

Or maybe if anyone has some ideas of an easier run with a nice view in the Kachess/Cle Elum area, I'd be willing to do that... no winch yet, but I've got straps and a hi lift that I'd rather not have to use.

Well ok then, I'll change my question to: Anyone know of any accessible trails with nice views in the Kachess/Cle Elum area that I could drive up on Saturday?

Follow up question, what's the etiquette in a situation like that? Am I allowed to clear the trail if I've got my chainsaw with me?

    Encouraged to, in fact.

In other news, my new bumper shipped today. Winch on the 15th, and will be good to go.

I like "french cabin creek rd." its more of a forest service road but there should be some good snow wheeling by now if you take pretty much any road off of it. It should be kept clear of trees by the snowmobiles that use it.

The free camping area at the bottom is probably my favorite place to car camp in the Central Cascades. The area above is nice too if you can get past the all the bugs trying to eat you alive.

I always forget the exit number... Kachess Lake exit.

Snoqualmie was a mess heading east, but not bad heading west. Found about 12" of fresh powder in a couple places, and a few drifts double that. Was real easy going. Snow all the way to Lester.
