I've had my truck for 1.5 days now, and I can already tell the QI pad is just going to be storage and another switch...

I have a droid turbo which has the QI built into it. I use a QI charger every night and it charges through my otter box. For some reason I cannot get the charger on the truck to stay connected. Even with the case off. It'll constantly go on and off, causing my phone to cycle on and off... I actually loose battery power when on the charger...

Anyone else experienced These issues? Even when parked it still does this.

With that said, you're in the bay area? I'm up in Fairfield.

Works great with my s6. It does charge it just not as good as a cord obviously. If my phone has a decent charge on it already and I leave it on the qi pad it will charge the phone. If the phone charge is low, like under 20% it will maintain that, but doesn't really charge it. I don't rely on it as my main charger, it's more of a maintainer.

Try putting the phone in daydream mode while it charges. You can find it on your phone in settings.

I wonder... Ill have to play with it more. I refuse to believe that it wont work with the Droid Turbo... it's one of the more powerful and better spec'd phones on the market.

I have an iPhone 6. Got the attachment on eBay for $14.99. Is paper thin and sticks to the back of the phone. You attach it and put your case over it. It works perfectly so far. Don't need to throw away you case and supposed to work on all apple products that have a lightning plug. Go to eBay and put in "QI for iPhone 6". Comes in black or white and you can buy a charger pad for your house for not much more.

My 2 year old LG G2 works great now that I figured out proper placement. Bottom of phone "seated" into the bottom right corner. Makes it easy to place by feel.

Did you ever get this resolved? I have the droid turbo2 and it charges without the case but have tried 2 different cases without success .

    NONE YET =(
I have the same problem with my s6 active. It's probably your battery size. My wife's s6 charges mine will charge for 3 seconds then shut off. The qi doesn't put out enough power to charge larger phone batteries not sure why. There may be a future update but who knows. If you've already tried the daydream you can try turning nfc off then back on.

It charges my Note 5 with a case without issue. Not nearly as fast as a home charger, but enough to add a little juice when I'm on my way somewhere.

You may need to try different positions... turn it one way or the other or push it to one side or the other.

i've heard that turning off bluetooth can help during the qi cycle. Mophie also sells a support unit. not sure how well it does with the g3 taco however.

Cases can affect the way "qi" works (pronounced CHEE)
    Always try w/o a case.

I have an iPhone 6s of course and got a case from the UK for qi charging. It works but the phone gets pretty warm for my liking....

My s7 charges without my otterbox on, but after about ten minutes, it is so hot that I can hardly put it in my pocket. Like way too hot, the charging pad itself is also super hot. It will not charge with the case on.

I don't have my Taco yet, but when I test drove one I found placing the phone on the right front corner resulted in the most reliable charge. Phone and smartwatch both worked good.
