Sweet! At what rpms do you start building boost and what rpms do you have max boost? A s/c would really be better for my application but I like to be different lol

I make 4psi a little after 2k, 3.5k full boost. Pulls hard to red line. It might be really responsive on a 3rz.

All I've heard is that these motors love boost, I can't wait to find out!

They are supposed to be really responsive to it. But I know from experience the heads are kinda weak so keeping your valve adjustments in check becomes key. I had four cracks in my old head. There just isn't much metal/space in between valves and where the water jacket runs.

I am in process, but it really only makes sense if you get rid of the add front diff, otherwise you have to keep the button lol.

Guess I'll have to learn how to do that. My truck is on the limiter a lot and haven't had any issues yet (knock on wood)

I tend to bang off the limiter a lot as of late too. I'm finally comfortable with how the truck runs (up on maintenance and such) that I don't worry about it as much. Has you head gasket ever been done?

The 4WD button engages the 4x4 system in the transfer case, not the ADD. The ADD automatically engages when the t-case actuator sends power to the front. You can have a j-shifter and have ADD. The ADD will engage when you shift into 4x4.

Can't go off psi. 8 psi is never the same from turbo X vs turbo Y. A lot of factors can change that.

Probably tear the turbo down too and rebuild it. What are the specs on it.

And go to customtacos.com. Way more info over there and tons of guys run turbos on 3rz there

That's the v6 your thinking of. Why the Trd supercharger isn't supported.

Look up the LCE low boost kit

Two different types of front diffs.

The push buttons have electronic solenoids for the actuator of the front diff. So push buttons have electronic tcases and front diffs.

Jshift have a jshift t case and the front diff is vacuum operated.

I don't think that's right. You would need to lock the add and add manual hubs

It "automatically" engages via an electrical signal when that button is pushed, or vacuum. So he would need to keep the button, he would need manual hubs to get rid of the button. Edit thanks @Blackdawg

Cool thanks bud, I'm not sure of all the specs but it's a t3/t4 .50. Still learning lol, everything I know about turbos started 3 days ago when I got the bug and started reading.

What brand or what it off? Miles? Play on the shaft? What's the compressors inducer/exducer size and turbine inducer/exducer?

LCE should have a header you can use.

Hmm, that's good news. I had always read that was a problem for both v6 and i4. I remember this from reading Big Mike's 3RZ build for his pre taco and his ECU was from an older T-100 and it didn't want to play along with the supercharger. I'll give the LCE low boost kit yet another eye fondle and see what their manual says.

Well I guess it's possible. I've only read the v6s being an issue. It again for more boost info, go to customtacos. They will know for sure.
