    What a fucking day. Thanks to the boys the t case and tranny are out. Only 2 major blood incidents and I have more work ahead of me than planned due to some shitty conversion work from the PO and a busted tranny housing that was gorilla glued at some point in the past. Ahhhh that's about it after my ATF baths today... I have never been that covered in any kind of oil before. Fucking nasty.

    Picking up the new Tranny tomorrow... built 700r4. Hardened, corvette sevro, wider bands, extra deep pan everything. Should be good for 800 HP... I just hope it likes the diesel and wheeling which I imagine is harder than 800 HP.

    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    So trans was picked up yesterday...ordered it with the 4x4 output shaft... but apparently this conversion requires the 2wd Output shaft. No biggie. The shop is going to swap it out Sunday free of charge.578f25fd3243f420ed2be8692ec663a5_86bd95e63f1435a16985bd465037779b405e2c80.jpg

    Not really since the output shaft has been cut down a little and one of the mounts for the engine had broken off at some point in the past and was gorilla glued back on and then broke off during the removal. I just ate the 50$ core charge.

    I don't think the new one is going to last. It's the wrong colour.. should be more of a spotty brown like the one on the right. Suspect poor quality raw materials. Stop buying important parts from China.
