A buddy, supermoto, has one and he said the bottle lasts an entire season (desert). You can fill them at beverage sellers, BEVMO or welding supply shops. People have beverage dispensers at home and kegerators at home which use CO2.

I think the fact that you can run air tools off of it. Yes I have a compressor but that means adding a portable tank somewhere else adding more tubing waiting for your tank to fill up and then having to let your unit cool down while you fill it up. Plus I've always lived by redundancy. I have a compressor for my tires lockers ex.. Now with this I have all that in a portable solution as a back up. One less thing to worry about out on the trail. My fuse blows I don't have another. Hey look I have my co2 bottle.

Also my areas I found a local shop that will fill up a 15lb tank for 15$ maybe 10 minutes away.

So before you invest ask yourself do you need it or want it. Is it feasible for me to invest in this and what are he applications I'm going to be using it for. Then I think you'll be set to go

I know for my kegerator, the local homebrew shop will do refills and or there are several places in Salt Lake that supply restaurants with their CO2 that do refills. I would imagine there are several refill places in each major city. Do a quick google search. Usually for a refill mine for around $15

I really want a solid air solution. i do a lot of dirt biking and constantly need to air up my tires which are super quick jobs, but jobs none the less. Occasionally i camp and might air my tires down a bit, or just need general tacoma tire maintenance.

Ideally yes, i want a portable solution that doesnt take 10 minutes or more to air a truck tire. If only i could refill the co2 tanks myself i would be all over this. I still might go in actually as i dont think its that expensive.

I'm either in for a IAS complete 10lb or building a 15lb of my own. Put me down for a maybe I guess.
These cylinders are not for compressed air, they are for compressed CO2. The high psi (around 1500-2000) gives you a much larger volume of portable gas.

Will the 15% promo be good for accessories too if we don't purchase a complete system?
Also, is there any option for a regulator with high and low pressure gauges?

On the regulator part. I was looking at the power tank regulator but not worth the 200$+ price tag. So what I'm planning is using a luggage scale to measure the amount used.

Weight it before you get it filled then when full.

Now you have a baseline for future fill ups too. and kind of eliminate the need for a regulator. But I still would like to have a high flow meter.

Thank you @beertimecontinuum for explaining this to me. I'm out! I have no desire to be tied to a store/shop...having to be dependent on them...each and every time my bottle is low/empty. Not even mentioning you have to pay for this inconvinence...although I can't imagine it costing very much to fill these bottles...have no idea how much CO2 goes for?? No thank you...been there, done that with Nitrous. Man what a PITA!!

Question: what effect...if any, does CO2 have on your tires?? Do they ride different??

I think I'm going with an on board air system. This ARB compressor is constant run...get a little 1-2 gal air tank with a presure switch. So when you need air, turn the power switch on..this will allow the compressor to automatically cycle on and off as you use it. Thus, being able to quickly air tires up, run most air tools....never worry about running out of air...haha, that is...as long as I have battery power...lol!!

    Good luck guys...

"Yes it will be good for any order. Regulator gauges are useless for a "fixed" regulator on Co2. You can not gauge the amount of Co2 left in the tank with a gauge since it's stored as a liquid. It will read "full" until just before it's empty. The low pressure, since it's fixed at 150psi, does not require a gauge and as you can imagine would be pretty useless."

So im looking into that Husky High Flow coupling that I saw at HomeDepot... interested if this will increase the flow rate of the "stock set Up" these come with... any input?

I got the bottle filled today. They suggested I put it in the fridge before filling. I only got 8lbs in a 10lb bottle.
