What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Which ones did you go with? I'm thinking about ordering the performance ball joint ones. Not sure I have a need for uni-ball UCA's

 

The 1.25 uni's. I have 3" lift with potentially 2+" more travel, especially on droop, but my UCA's max out and actually hit my springs. Plus with the extra upper link clearance, I can out in 275/70s without having to do a cab mount chop! Win/win!
I got the Camburgs because of the 1.25 balls, pretty good construction, good customer service. Over the all pros because all pro does not have a bracket for the ABS wire, just zip tie it to the arm, which I think is sloppy, otherwise, I think the all pros are great! I have a ton of AP stuff on my truck and it is all awesome. Over icons, cuz the drill a hole in the arm for the ABS line mount, which weakens the arm, I think. Otherwise they are very nice.

 

I sold my '07 TRDACSport 6MT today. I owned it 5 years and loved driving it. The original owner had rolled it so it had a rebuilt title. I replaced the front spacers with Bilstein 5100's on all four corners set at 1.75 in the front with AAL in the rear. Low miles at 59k. I put it on CL this afternoon and it was gone in 3 hours. I believe it went to a good home

Better questions though...whats next? Stickin' with a Tacoma? And why sell it at such low miles?

I got a new Tacoma a couple weeks ago and I have 2013 4R TE. The 07 would have run forever, however, the body repair was starting to develop hairline cracks that would need to be addressed. So I was at the crossroads, as to whether to repair or replace.

 

Last time I asked, my wife is just fine with me playing around with the truck. In her words, "It's better than you playing around with a 19 year old blonde" (as if that was even possible at this stage of my life.... )

I got more'n just the approval......She bought the truck for me! All it took was one 4-wheeling trip and she's every bit as into it as I am.

 

Going to have my two front windows tinted on Friday hopefully. My buddy is a UPS driver, and delivers to a guy that does that, so he gave me his number. I asked about matching the two back windows, and he said it can be done, but chances are I would get in trouble since I live in CT and the most I can have is 35%. So not worth getting in trouble, so going with that to be safe. Going to charge me $70.00, which I don't think is bad at all. Plus he's picking up the car from my job, doing it, and then bringing it back. Will post pics once I get it back!

 

Nice! I recommend getting the upper part of the windshield done too. Might not be necessary in Connecticut but it helps on bright sunny days.

Your welcome Nuno! The chick that does all my window tinting does a excellent job. The strip comes down to the bottom of the mirror mount. Here in Florida it's a must. On my access cab I have limo tint on the small side windows and the back window and the windshield strip. Maybee send the tech this photo.
