You want me to put you down for a rear bumper? LMK standard, high clearance, powder coat or bare and so on. Then I can update the main list so we have a general idea how much guys are on for the group buy.

You can add me to the list for a standard rear bumper with reverse light cut-outs. The SRQ rigid lights and bumper powder coating. Lastly, the flip down license plate mount. I might add something else, I'll let you know if I do.

I thought about it, but I'm not sure I'd utilize it much. Plus it's 50% more on price

I'm not going to be able to do anything until I get to Japan. I'm telling my mom and step-dad to not be surprised if they see a couple of pallets end up in their drive way while the truck is there in WA. :D

If there's a little doubt in your mind that you might want the swing out, then bite the bullet and get it. These bumpers are too big of an investment to not get exactly what you want.

I guess the question is, when do I need money in hand? And can someone explain to me why the charge for powercoating is 175, then an additional 50 for matte black, shouldn't that be part of the 175?

Dana, this decision has been racking my brain. How do you cope with carrying crap that dosent fit in the tiny bed? U know, not being able to shut the tailgate. Im also a bit worried that my hitch hauler for dirt bike may not clear the spare tire when loaded. Easy enough to remove the tire i guess. Also, SCS discontinued the color of rims I have :(. Gonna have to find another set, or get one PC'd to match. Ugh

Good questions.:confused::confused: If you need the tailgate open to carry your loads then that's a good reason for no swingout. I haven't had any loads like that since I sold my quad. The most I carried was some 2x4's, and I stuck those out the back with the tailgate closed. You already have a roof rack but I guess you can't strap your bike to the roof.:bikewhoops:

After you get the swingout, your tailgate will always have to be closed.

You could get a bumper with no swingout and use a Wilco Offroad "Hitch Gate" to hold your tire when you need that, and then switch to your hitch bike carrier when you need that. And when you need your tailgate down you can remove all of that.
