    • LED BED LIGHT KIT (MULTI COLOR) includes remote - Short $150 / Long bed $155 Special order only (3-4 week)

    These are more of a novelty and not as useful as the single color LEDs. There can not be a bed mounted switch with the multi color LEDs

    Not that you guys need my help. But here are a few pic's of how I ran the wire into the taillight pocket. And no drilling a hole for ground. Found a 10mm nut and used an existing stud.

    I have a big road trip planned over the holidays, from the Bay Area to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I realized that much of my trip will be in the dark due to short winter days. My Tradesman topper is awesome, but it's a horrible black hole in the dark. I contacted Matt to see if he could make up some LED strings asap, before I leave for my trip. After pm'ing Matt back and forth briefly, he suggested I drive down to his place since we both live in the Bay Area. We spent 3 hours on Saturday a.m. at Matt's shop, with me doing some of the dirty work running wire along the frame from the battery to the bed while Matt measured and soldered the lights. It is all straighforward work if any of you were hesitant to install yourself. Matt has nice descriptive directions included with the kits. Matt had some good ideas on the best configuration and made custom strings for the windoors and roof. I couldn't be happier!! Super friendly service and communication with Matt was quick and easy. Matt, thanks so much for your great work and I'm so happy how the lights turned out. It's a huge quality of life upgrade and I will be so smug every time I click on that switch and the warm white LED's glow.

    Hey matt, has your lights always been waterproof? The reason I ask is because I bought your kit and my lights no longer work. There started to dim and then finally gave out. Not sure if water got in them or the lights just went dead because of age (don't think I've had them that long).
