Aaron Rodgers sure doesn't look like an elite level QB over the last 4-5 weeks.

Nor does that backfield look like anything but a pile of doggy doo-doo for the most part.

So, I'm not retarded. I know a lot of you guys hate Brady for whatever reason, but that's really beside the point I'm going to try to make. Von Miller is a great player, one of the best pass rushers in the league if not the best. I don't think he's a dirty player. But... That late hit the other night on Brady, while he was already on the ground from being tackled and trying to actually sit back up, was obvious that Miller was trying to concuss him. I mean.. It was a really late hit. Blatant I would even say. I don't like seeing that shit done to any player, even Peyton Manning (who everyone knows I hate). I wouldn't wish a hit like that on Greg Hardy. So, moving on... Miller got penalized, it is what it is. The most fucked up thing about this - the MOST fucked up thing, is that Miller was fined only half of the normal "roughing the passer" amount. So... If I'm not mistaken, the NFL is now giving discounts to guys who hit Brady? How's that any different than what Sean Payton had going in NO? But it's ok, because the NFL levied the bounty, not a team. Idk, I get that it's Brady, it's easy for all of you to shit on him, he didn't get injured by the hit, whatever. But it's still fucked up, no matter which player it would have happened to.

I've seen a lot worse. I mean A LOT worse. You sound like any other patriots fan, finding someone and something to bitch and moan about after losing a game.

No, I give full credit to the Broncos, haven't blamed the refs once, and that hit wasn't what lost them the game. Actually Brady played well enough to win. I agree, I've seen worse hits before, but that was as obvious as it gets.. I'm not bitching about Miller, I'm moreso asking what the fuck is up with the NFL giving discounts on fines? Coincidence that the discount was given when the hit was against Brady? It's just fucked up. I'd expect you to be the same way if it was someone on your team.

I thought it was blatant and obvious, cheap. He speared him and tried to hurt him, no doubt. It wasn't a natural movement.

I guess it's just something to think about, nothing that can really be done, and please, I'm not bitching about Miller, I'm bitching about the circumstances around the situation.

Yeah I agree with you on the fine thing, but the NFL is poor at managing fines all around. I mean fining a guy $32,901 for a brutal helmet to helmet hit, then fining the next guy $62,028 for touching a quarterback. I'd like to see more consistency in the whole penalty process I guess I'm saying. I don't know if I would agree that they are giving Von Miller a "discount" per say, that might be a little too far fetched in my opinion.

Maybe I missed it but looks like Stafford is getting some treatment on the sideline. This could be a problem

Well I'll put it this way.. They fined him exactly half of what the normal roughing the passer fine is. Sounds similar to a 50% discount. Also, just for shits, the NFL has 22 new refs this year, after only having 17 new ones total from 2008 to 2014....

I've never seen Bennett attempt to spear and hit the head of a downed QB. Late hits are another story.

Maybe some of the refs need a good deflating?
