    Honestly, I have nothing but respect for the chevy swap. Dakota did a fantastic job & it was great to see it in person. I've seen a few others with this mod & it did cross my mind. For my needs I'll stick to the Dakar with the shackle flip - although I may inboard the shocks at a later date.

    How much longer until the 37's kiddo? ;)

    Honestly when you guys say stuff like that I seriously consider it... My buddy is gonna run 37s on his Dana 44... He just gusseted everything. What I'm trying to say is I'm not worried about the front diff...
    I am very worried about CV axles and fenders. So much work to make them fit with LT and stock fenders.
    Plus the rear axle would have to be switched out... No way that thing would last... *sigh*

    That's the main benefit of the blue seas, locates all the fuses in one central location and you can label them.

    Flat springs work best for ride comfort, those archy springs are rough on the trails. If you have flat springs and set your bumps right you should be riding right in the middle of the travel which is right where you want it.

    Gusseting everything on a dana 44 it is still a dana 44, you can only polish a turd so much it is still a turd. Just a matter of time before stuff breaks, cheaper in the long run to just swap a d60 in if you have the HP and can tolerate the unsprung weight.

    I believe so cuz essentially that fuse block is your inline fuse.

    My dakars are flat at ride height and I've towed a 4runner, still drove fine. Just make sure your springs can handle the weight and the shock setup is appropriate for your truck.

    That's true for dakars. I have stock springs, which were not flat when they were installed.

    Sorry, I missed that. Yeah the stock springs are weak lol. Dakars, expos, or 63s are all a good option.
