    That sucks, I saw that in the NEBS thread. I hope it can be salvaged as you mentioned but won't be the same as original condition! Is there any recourse on the part of UPS, you had mentioned it was kind of rare to begin with? I'm assuming it was insured when shipped :notsure:

    I managed to find an original factory stock from Numrich, so I can drop the gun into that and it'll still be pretty close to original. And it was insured, so assuming I can get UPS to accept liability it should be covered by them. But getting them to accept responsibility is always a challenge. It's not that rare of a gun, just uncommon. Marlin made them for years, but they discontinued them in the 60's. I've just been keeping an eye out for a cheap bolt-action tube-fed .22 plinker and stumbled across this gem. But now thanks to UPS it's a big headache, lol.
