This thread name though. :rofl:Sub. Thanks again for that daily driven sticker from like last year! Getting really close to being able to slap it on. In the middle of painting my axle housing soon.

I bought my fronts from another member who was stripping his truck for a trade in. If I had the money I would've bought his whole set up at that time. I got the fronts for 900$ on a mostly fresh rebuild. I removed the 700# springs and replaced with 600#

I should have everything done when I want..waiting on ONE thing sucks :pout:

Hard to imagine Dakars flattening with how stiff they are! Do you have the AAL in the pack? Haven't heard too many complaints with Icons really..I'd have to do more research on them.

    Can't beat Kings

Same with anything custom..stock sucks! But seriously, better valving to cater your needs. I can see stock valving be stiff because it has to cover a variety of application out of the box so the valve ranging is bigger.

 Thanks! No worries man! Welcome to the shit show!

Not too shabby..had to change it up a bit now that it's heading in a #EAF/Overland direction

To answer the question valving changes the rates for compression and rebound. In most cases what the King or ICON set for their direct OEM replacement will be great for most. My front were set up by the previous owner cause he liked the skinny pedal so they get progressively stiffer (harder to bottom) in the compression side. My rears will be set up similarly.

I have the first overload on the dakars removed and no AAL, so they flattened a little, they still have a little arch in them. having the first overload removed lets the dakars travel more.

Ok man, just PM me when you are ready. I'll be at Avid tomorrow if my BAMF kit shows up today. Going to start building a template for frame plates. Just seeing if its possible to fit cardboard and cut it to build an acad file
