I will say i thoroughly enjoy the shooting in this game, vats is awesome except for the fact that half the shots miss it seems like. But i love seeing heads shot off. The settlement building is pretty enjoyable as well and the graphics are great except for minor mishaps.

I also wish armor was more optioned. I was still rocking armor from back when i first got to diamond city till now. Have a hard time finding any legendary gear with even decent stats. Guns are great though.

 

Yes, I know I am. But reading through a lot of this thread, its mostly about crafting instead of the missions. I don't have the cash to buy one anyway, so why keep my hopes up on playing it?

The quests are fun. Crafting is only part of the game. You could just continually quest for all the factions and never build more than a radio beacon.

 

Crafting is there if you want it. You don't NEED to do much of it at all if you don't wish to.

The storylines are fantastic and well-written, lots and lots of side quests and factions you can play with/against.

Not buying this game because of the crafting in it is like not buying a car because you don't like Sunday morning drivers.

 

I actually enjoy the crafting / settlement building and management as much as the missions

 

I'll just say this. If you joined he Brotherhood expecting to be a shining beacon of justice and honor, you might want to reconsider who you throw your hat in with.

Hmm, I wouldn't say that. More like, Nazi Germany. 'You're either on our side, or dead. Fuck literally everyone else.' This sect of the BoS is exceptionally dickish.

 

Thats true too. (Especially with the one task you are sent off to finish). I was going to join the institute at first but i learned what they had thought as well and decided they werent any better at all. The minutemen are the only true good in the story line if thats how you want to roll.

 

I finally have a 1080p tv now too! Graphics are waaaaay cleaner and just more defined overall

 

Man, I have to agree with you two guys. I've done a BoS playthrough and I'm mostly done with the Institute as well, and both sides are just dickheads the whole time. Honestly I had the most fun on side missions.

 

Yea, best thing would be not finish the sotry line at all if you want to keep access to the most side quests. The BoS is badass still imo, haha

 

Just lost all days game play when I glitched and got stuck in a wall. I had found three unique weapons and leveled up 4 times. apparently no autosave between this morning and now.

 

That's crazy. It's programmed to auto save every other time you open your pip boy 10 min apart

 

Anybody else deal with a synth attack on their settlements ?

 

Also I had 2 times when I did not receive a notification about a settlement was being attacked and then I just got a notice saying I failed to defend 2 of my settlements , fast travel to them to find all the defenses , generators and water sources destroyed plus all the crops hacked down , that pissed me off

 

I have zero autosaves to pull from. Gonna do some exploring on the main menu when i get home. Hopefully I can get it back.

 

Look in LOAD in the first screen menu when you start the game

 

The ONLY time I've had a settlement attacked, it was by Synths. One of the settlers some how got ahold of my minigun and decimated them all before I realized what was happening.
