    Just added it up. I broke everything out to not include the minimum qty. So for instance...I need 10 cavity plugs but had to order 100. I'm only counting the cost for 10. You never know if you may or may not have resources that could have lesser qty available. I also did not count ANY tools....again you may already have some or all of them. I used a flat cost for the wire of $50. I have not counted switches or a bracket yet since I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do about switch location and I'm going to fab the bracket myself.

    Total came to $186.95

    The final bits arrived this afternoon. I decided to get a little start on it ... because I couldn't stand waiting ;) I will say that the metri-pack crimps are a bit of a pain. Here's what I've got so far....the other end of the wires are just that...wires I'll add the weather-pack tomorrow. Time for a nightly beverage right now.

    Does anyone got an estimate on the cost of building one? And when are realys needed? Or do you just usually use then on everything?

    See my post (#52) below for the detailed breakdown of cost.

    TLDR version: $150 per box if you have all the tools. $730 if you need to buy tools and make your initial part order. It's pricey initially due to minimum order quantities. You may be able to order with a buddy to reduce your initial cost. Plus... You could build your boxes together and drink beer!

    As for relays, if your accessory came with one, you'll need to use the relay slot on the Bussmann. Short and sweet if it.

    I've been stewing on doing one of the Bigger RFRM modules, maybe do one bus bar as always on, and the other as on with ignition, then an external ground. I'm still trying to work it out in my head.

    with the part minimums, and good guides like this, I'm a bit surprised I haven't seen an assemble yourself parts only kit for this.
