I don't pay attention to anything that's reported when shit like this goes down. I wait a few days until the dust settles, most of what is reported during a tragedy like this is rumor, half truths or just plain b.s. It just pisses me off when reporters ask lame questions cause they have to fill a 2 minute time slot or say shit like the Police entered the building with their REVOLVERS drawn. Like it was the 1960s. Until the facts come out Ill just pray for the victims and their family.

One has to be smart and navigate the hard news and the news analysis/opinion. And wise enough to know the differance.

I'm not convinced most Americans are. :(

You're right, having to experience tragedies like this has to leave a mark. My former brother in law is retired FBI, I also have a nephew that works for the CBP in Arizona. God bless the first responders as well.

Without a doubt. I was stationed in OKC when McVey blew up the Murrah building and they asked for volunteers from Tinker AFB to assist in the cleanup. I saw things I still can't forget over 20 years later. But as in this tragedy, your thoughts aren't on yourself at the time, they're on the victims and the family and friends. It's not until weeks later that the horrific things you saw really hit you.

Reportedly the wife pledged allegiance to ISIS under a different name on Facebook and then deleted the posts a short time after.

I have seen it on multiple news agency's today. But yes I agree, I believe the Weekly World News before anything on Fox News.

I'm not sure anyone would be surprised to see this as a domestic terrorism event

I am curious to see if they were Isis or just wannabes. Just because you wear a sports team jersey doesn't mean you are on the team.

Judging by the results I think they qualify regardless of wanna-be status or not.

I'm thinking that you are one of them if you pledge your allegiance to them.

Not sure its a precondition to joining ISIS to actually have travelled to North America from Syria or Iraq , it's more of an ideology thing that thanks to the internet is consumable from pretty much anywhere

All I keep seeing on Facebook is about that rock star who just died .... I wish for just a moment we could remember these innocent lives..
