    So my dad found some pictures from his "Toyota Days" as he put it. He thought it's crazy he never thought one day he'd have a son who was obsessed with them.
    A little over 30 years ago my dad bought his first new vehicle, what many of us would consider a gold mine to find in nice condition today, A 1985 Toyota Xtra Cab 4X4 SR5 with the 22RE!
    Unfortunately, only one week after owning it he hit black ice on a bridge on the freeway sending him rolling 3 times end over end. Scary that he almost checked out in 1984. And tragic for that poor Toyota. On a positive note over the course of two years my grandpa tore it down to the frame and rebuilt everything including a flat bed! After he passed away my stupid cousin got the truck for free, wheeled it a little, then sold it for a profit :mad: I really wanted that truck but was too young, thought it should've stayed in the family. Oh well, idk why I wrote this but I thought it was cool my dad had such a neat truck, if only for a little while :(
