My truck is atrocious right now... I need to unpack it, reorganize, and clean the hell out of it

RIP Scott Weiland. May you find the peace in death you never could in life.

He's been off for a few years now. I'm actually kind of surprised it hasn't happened sooner.
Still sucks, though. STP was one of my favorite bands back in school.

My truck is always messy. Combo of my daughter's toys, binkies, diapers, etc... And dog hair. So much dig hair. If anyone has free time feel free to come and clean it for me.

Totally misread that as "bikinis" the first time. I was like "wait, WHAT the F*CK?!"

Didn't know he died yesterday. Weird because I had listened to a couple STP albums yesterday.

Ya he died at like 8 last night. Don't think they've released a caise yet, but if I had to guess I would put my money on drugs or complications from past drug use

Yup they were doing a show and found him dead on the tour bus.

And yes he beat the odds as a heroin addict being alive at 48

    Morning all,

Got the snows mounted yesterday. We'll see how they work this year as this time I put them on the right sides - evidently they are directional :facepalm:I guess I now know why the front end was floating around last year. What a dumb ass...

Today's project is a coat of wax if I can find the desire to do that.

What do you guys that wash your truck use for car wash soap? I used turtle wax brand soap and, yes, it doesn't strip the wax but it also doesn't remove the dirt too good either.

I have tried a bunch and the best I found is Meguiars gold car wash. It's relatively cheap and you don't need to use a lot of it . I'll get ready for the :crapstorm: but I did not like the Mothers California gold car wash at all.

You'd be amazed how many people make that mistake. Hell, how many techs at a shop make that mistake, even. I can't even count the number of times we had cars come in with directional tires facing in the wrong direction when I worked at a shop. Used to see V-tread tires facing the wrong way ALL of the time.
"There's something wrong with my car, it's all over the road!"
"Well, right now your tires are channeling all of the water to the center of the tire rather than expelling it, so...."

There was someone with a Tacoma near me who put his Baja claws on backwards and I had to convince him even though he may like it better in mud it was probably a bad idea. I don't know if anyone remembers that 4 door on 37s from one of the Taunton runs.
