I see. Way back when I was on bucket duty we used a 40 mil liner under the base.

    Sorry for the slow rely....

I love it. Really cleans the garage ceiling up. It's by far one of my favorite additions to the house and I like to show my friends. I've had it two years and it's work flawlessly.

pros: super quite. Has a self locking device every time it closes. Cleans garage ceiling.

    Cons: not sure.

Well, I will be relocating the power outlet this weekend to accommodate this new opener location then next weekend the fun starts to install it and the door.

Thanks for the report on the opener.......

Looks good, can't tell the slop from the picture but are you adding a curb or is it set to not need one. And what's your plan for sticking the tiles on the sloped walls.

    My struggle today

No curb . Using unmodified thin set to bond the marble to the ceiling

won't you need some kind of temporary "ledger" to keep the tiles from "sliding" down the slope?

Nope , they would be more likely to fall straight to the floor than move down the slope , the roof pitch is 14/12 , or 49 degrees

that looks awfully steep, ...I don't know, in all disclosure I haven't installed tile on a ceiling, ..but in realizing that installing them on a "sloped" ceiling might be a different animal than the usual horizontal ceiling, i'd imagine you're dealing w/ a component of gravity that would impart a tendency for it slide out of its position before the mortar sets up...?..?..?

It is steep but the tendency would be for the tile to want to fall right out not slide down the slope , the suction and surface tension should hold them there till it sets

If it becomes a disaster I'll be sure to post pics haha

I understand the "suction" aspect, ..and in a horizontal arrangement I suppose that's what helps the thinset hold the tile long enough for cure... but in a sloped configuration, those forces have to now counteract a "shearing" force directed in one direction (toward the bottom of the slope)... take it to the extreme of a vertical installation, ..you have to use a ledger to keep them in place due to the thinset can't oppose the direct shear force of the tile's weight (and of the tile stacked above it)... i'm just skeptical you'll be able to set these on that slope w/ thinset and not have issues w/ it sliding down...
