San Bernardino, CA Shootings

Having visited the "mall" many times when I was younger. It's more setup like a flea market and in a horrible neighborhood.

I'm sure it was a false alarm.

 

I'd agree with that and haven't been there. The way it was discussed on comms was like it was an old "mall" that's essentially derelict.
I assumed it was kind of an area that was a "mall" 40 years ago and now is just kind of a lifeless area. Though it did mention possible shots fired at a Target store there, so I wasn't too sure.

Still had a hunch the mall in question was different than my local malls.

There are essential 3 mall areas in the area.
Waterman Discount Mall (which is what I thought I heard on the police scanner)
Inland Center Mall (which is pretty close by the IRC)
Carousel Mall (which has been decommissioned for quite awhile. It's mainly used for small offices and businesses but due to lack of traffic and horrible area business rarely stay long.)

Like you and others who know anything about San Bernardino. It's a crime filled city. Any one of those locations could've had some type of suspicious activity and I'm glad the PD kept every possible scenario open.

so so sad, Prayers truly to the victims families. Can see here on these list: Vietnamese-American, Filipino-American, Irish-American, Mexican-American, German-American, Greek-American..and on and on.. it really hit the nerve on all cultures on what these cowards did

 

...as we suspected from the get-go, ...this was a radical Islamic terror attack, ...finally the "officials" (FBI, et al) are admitting to this as a terror investigation...

The media coverage from inside the house is really disgusting me.

 

They were acting like piranhas and hyenas on a feeding frenzy.

 

Seriously.. there was a reporter just on. Seemed all out of breath and even giddy to be there. So unprofessional and gross.

 

i'd go even farther and say the "media coverage", since the very outset of this, has been overwhelmingly despicable and wholly and intentionally misleading, so as to spew the perception of this being anything other than a radical Islamic attack...

 

Reports are coming out the landlord was paid $1,000 by MSNBC,CNN to be the first in....Maybe he is trying to recover damage and lost revenue?
