What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I removed my sway bar, put it back on, and now it's stuck....Don't know how one nut seized up after less than a year

 

It knew deep down that after removing it once, if you ever tried to take it off again it would be for good... The damn thing is hanging on for dear life!

 

Plasti dip or I guess you can call is rattle can plasti the badges. Excited to see the results. One badge to start with to make sure I like it. Process is still concerning of how easy it "seems" to be

 

I reinstalled it just because I had to make multiple 5 hour drives. Tried to remove it for a wheeling trip and one damn nut was so stuck.

 

Ummm...

 

I've been wrassling with this nut for a couple days now trying to avoid doing anything too drastic. Cutting through it with a dremel and getting penetrating fluid in through the cut seemed to do the trick.

 

I did the gray wire mod today, looking forward to playing with it and seeing how it works

 

I'll have to figure something out next time I have my truck home from school.

I still haven't done this.....

 

Just fyi, as long as one side is disconnected, the sway bar doesn't do anything. You don't need to take it completely off

 

But there's nowhere to swing the end link out of the way and I wouldn't want it hanging loose down there.

Rather just remove the entire thing. It only takes 5 minutes if you don't run into a stuck nut or bolt

 

That's the only kind of bolts that are on my truck lol, hooray winter
