Shock boots on if you run in mud/dirt a lot.

And I would say the opposite. No reason to trap more junk around the shock shaft and seal.

If you do run boots, make sure they have drainage holes on the bottom.

I've had mud and dust cake up on my motorcycle fork tubes because I didn't have fork boots and then after the mud dried it wore the seals out quite quickly. 's my $0.02 anyway.

I've never run boots, never had a problem. I have a box of them in the shed if anybody wants them.

I've been running my others without boots just keeping them rinsed off...seems to me like it would be more of a bitch keeping them cleaned off with the boots on..

I've got seal savers on my KTM.

However, that is an apples-to-oranges comparison.

Motorcycle forks are a different animal, generally just an O-ring or oil seal is all they have and yes they need boots to keep them clean. Shocks have a much heavier seal in them plus a scraper that cleans the crud off.

Not all vehicles are trashed after recovery lol. Luckily there's not much room in my cab :p

And you forget who I am...trashed? Chop it and tube, instant crawler.

Like I said, I don't care if my trucks a lawn ornament. I'm keeping it.

You have clearly never seen how people drive after a vehicle has been stolen.... Burn that mother fucker to the ground. by the time you wake up and start to track it it's been through hell and back. Just better to start over from new.

I don't know if I personally know any one who can't drive a stick. I mean I prolly do, but for the most part it's not that hard of a task.

It alerts me as soon as the truck moves, so it won't have time to go to hell and back. I'll be right on hells ass lol

The same person stole my grandmas car three times and never trashed it.

Don't worry homie, I got this!
