The Waiting Game...Who's playing?

Mine arrived at the railhead in St Paul on Tuesday night and was still there as of this afternoon, a mere 15 miles or so from the dealer. It's killing me!

 

That is inline with what I was told as well. Apparently it's due to the back up sensors integrated into the rear bumper.

 

As of last Monday my 7568 order has yet to be accepted. Maybe I'm getting closer...

 

Lame! That chrome bumper is gonna look dumb on the MGM might have to be my first project haha

 

It will only come painted from the factory with the PT package. You can have the dealer do whatever your heart desires if you pay them enough money.

 

Well to day is the day 12/4 build date !! I can see it rolling down the assemble line now !!

 

Mine is finally on a train. Delivery date is 12/14

 

I don't have a true build date yet or a temp VIN, so I am taking things with a grain of salt...but the order info the dealer sent me earlier this week showed a 1/8/16 delivery date to the VPC in Houston, so I assume it is in mid-late December.

 

I hope your right, I thought the same thing about mine only to find out a week later it was going to at least another month .

 

Mine had a build date of 11/21, I stopped at the dealer last night and they said it is in transit and should be here between 12/7 and 12/11. Only a couple more days.

 

WTF...My build date was 11/17 and my trucks still MIA!

Dealer daily just shows build date 11/17 with the temp vin# and my dealer nor corporate has any idea whats going on. They both say there's no back orders, I went into another large local dealer and they confirmed that too. I know there's a couple other members here having the same problem and our build dates are somewhat close and from the same plant (Mx). They're getting nothing from their dealers/corporate either. It would just be nice to know of there is a back order or some other problem. This is going to be a vehicle used for business and I'm moving in a few weeks,have to leave my trade in truck here and will now be forced to rent one for God knows how long. Ok,rant over.

I ordered a 4x4 Sport AC with manual on 9/25. Today dealer said it is built and should arrive 12/16 to 12/18.

 

Just put in my order for a 4X4 DCLB in Mag. Gray, pretty stoked. The wait begins!

 

I just stopped by the dealership to make sure the VIN # they emailed me was my VIN and not just some hypothetical. The manager took me back into his office and showed me the number of trucks in my configuration that were going to be available (which was like 243) and then he narrowed it down to black which left 4 I think. Two are coming to my dealer and one has a sold dot next to it which is mine. So I felt good about it. We are switching the dot though because the black interior will arrive earlier than the granite interior. It's looking like 2 weeks now. Manager said he didn't really know what the hold up was but Toyota doesn't tell the dealers unless the dealers get real insistent. Craziest thing is I walked away from a MGM in the exact configuration I want. It's a great color but I've driven an RSX type-S in that color for 10 years now and want a different color.

 

Ordered my truck on September 23. It got built today. Dealer told me it will be about 10 days till it arrives! So close!

 

What is the 7545? I am getting a white TRD off road manual double cab. Mine got built today, but I ordered mine September 23...

 

DCSB OR 6MT is 7545. All model numbers listed here. Mine was ordered 10/17, on schedule to arrive at the dealer in the next 6-10 days.

 

Ordered Nov 28 ,inferno dclb off road 4x4 with premium tech pack,and dealer said 6-8 weeks for delivery, I hope he's right about it.

 

I just canceled an order today on a 7545 due to be built next week. I placed the order on October 15, but have since realized that I can get a better deal elsewhere. I'm still waffling on automatic vs. manual, mostly due to a couple features only offered on the automatic. Figured I'd wait a bit until the initial flurry is over...maybe I can even hold out long enough until the TRD Pro is available.
