Yep! Our biggest trailer only goes to 10 ton. Just need a big trailer and winch. Hopefully the guy gets back to me.

I like how they try to make it sound like this is some massive stockpile of ammo too. I probably have 3x this much sitting around and will burn through 1000 rounds easy on a trip out shooting.

 

Me too. They keep banging the ban drum and we keep breaking records on firearm sales. 2.2 million background checks last November, 175,754 on black friday alone. It's funny how nobody wants to ban plumbing supplies. They had pipe bombs too you know.

 

I always love when they say someone had a stockpile of ammo...and its only 1k. If they think 1k is a stockpile then if they ever had to inventory mine they would assume i was fighting a war. Let alone if they knew what my reloading stuff was and add that in...then id be fighting a world war.

Buddy of mine thinks that is a European spec rear end on that Mercedes and the ad is a scam. No chance there is a both WWII surplus Panther AND that Mercedes in Oregon.

 

I don't know man. Usually the scams are nation wide, and if you google the text of the ad it will come up on CL's thousands of miles away. Plus, I know a lot of Germans in this state.... I imported one myself. Souvenir of course.

We ended up going to Furrow's tree farm on West Union this morning.

Nice folks! They carry it out and bail it for you for $2. Free hot chocolate, too. Those guys were working hard for the $2 in my opinion. Well worth it!

 

Think I can haul that tank down the road with a semi that has farm plates? The trailer on the semi has a couple ton winch on it. It shouldn't be a problem, right?

Just looking at that photo, it looks 20yrs old. Really grainy and undetailed. If thats a word. I doubt the US military just leaves tanks abandoned on peoples property; in the US. Seems fake to me. Got an address for some Google earth view? If its in Oregon city, not that I'm familiar with the area, I'd suspect some other public knowledge of it being there, let alone for sale...
