I'm looking to swap my all weather Tacoma mats for stock carpet ones. Does anyone not wanting carpet willing to sell or exchange?

Check the 3rd gen for sale forum. Someone had a listing a while back wanting to do this swap.

I was thinking about ordering a set for my truck till the dealer told me $135.00 + 7% sales tax. Then drive 64 miles one way to pick the up.

I can understand that. I have the advantage of working at the dealership so I get a break.

You would of thought they would of given me a break. I gave them the carpeted floor mats and you know they will sell them to someone else. (They were included in a package along with door sill protectors.) They swapped them out with the all weather mats from a 2nd Gen Tacoma then added $100.00 to what they gave me on my trade in.

Yes, they are wider and cover the driver side left foot pad.

I got the new OEM mats. They do cover more area but are of a more rubbery consistency. They are not nearly as riged as weathertecs. IMO they look fine and I won't return them but if I had to do it over I would have got weathertecs. I know nothing about the huskys

My dealer sold me fucking 2015 mats saying they were 2016. Fuckin idiots. Guess I'm the idiot for not checking them at the dealer but it was late and I was tired after work.

I have a new set of carpet mats for a 2016 Tacoma DC Automatic that came with the truck purchased this week, never used since I bought the OEM all weather mats.

The sales manager I'm dealing with on my Tacoma order made a few comments on comparing the Tacoma mats to Weathertech. The Tacoma mats are a softer rubber, and because of this, they are not as slippery as the Weathertech mats. The Weathertech uses a harder formed plastic sheet. He said the Weathertech mats will last forever, (the Tacomas will eventually wear out) but for some people the slippery hard surface can be annoying with your shoes sliding too easy. I found it interesting that the dealer also stocks the Weathertech mats for people that demand them over the Tacomas. They offer the Weathertech at the same online price, but they don't charge for shipping.

Yep! Factory allweather mats. Note that passenger mat no longer has a retaining feature as did 2008 mats.

I got mine of Ebay. They came from Frontier Toyota. $94.50 for all 3 pieces. I had to pay $16 shipping though. Still a lot cheaper than Weather Tech or Husky. They fit great and feel good under my feet. They look very nice.

The price the dealer quoted me was for just the 2 front mats so Husky ($89.00 free shipping) was the way to go for me. Glad you got a good deal.

I have the old style all weather mats. Thay are shit to be honest. They are thin cheep rubber and don't protect nor do the carpet mats witch are totally shit.

The new style at leat fit nice and cover well. I'm not sure how they are made.

But I can't wait for my weathertech mats to show up.

I may be reading this wrong, but I don't think protection from beer is the problem here.
