Hmmmm according to @lembowski, the truck stop did one behind the engine along the firewall for superchargers...

They slightly vary in mounting points and in routing as the years go on. Not every 2nd gen supercharger install is the same apparently. That's why he didn't do it from the back as well.

Well, im gonna look and ask about it. I think theres room for some 1.25 up along the firewall lip. Probably be sitting tight at the hood, but i think it will be worth it for me.

    Pismo was a large success.

Big shoutouts to BAMF and DTF for delivering and making kickass products that helped me excel out there. Next up on the list is some very important things to do. Engine mounts, trans mount, and a beef crossmember for the trans mount. As well as headlight replacements. Mine have seen better days. My TC hoops need additional reinforcement as they saw a little flex while they were out there. The radiator support needs more solid mounting done to it. I'll be busting out the torch and steel filler rods to adjoin some of the reinforcement pieces DTF made for me while I was out there. I'll also be drilling through some of the spot welds where the fenders mount and solid mounting them with fasteners and their related hardware.

Those engine mounts look beefy. Great build all the way around--read the whole thing. :D I like the pic of your dog's b'day! ::)

Thanks dude. I haven't found many who were naysayers of it. Even some of the LT guys I have met like the build too! Except Jeff @VolcomTacoma. He's a big hater. :D

Haha my dog is just a giant piece of pink beef. He gets new nicknames every week. I think I gave him the nickname pinkie recently because of how much of a dohdoh he is. He's a great dog though. Probably the best one I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Always so happy.

The little ears on the bulkhead? No way. Well either way I drilled them out and ran bolts through all four of them, solid now. :D

Glad you are enjoying the support bushings dude!

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words my good man!

Been a while since I posted anything on this and updated. Installed a new mod today, had to mod it just to install the mod, but it works great, hitting 7 PSI now where as before I could not. Stock intake is definitely a bottle neck area. Don't mind the rust, painting that bar is a mod in itself which I haven't had time to do.

Oh yeah. They should be here on the build. Check a few pages back. Probably like one or two pages.

My bad, missed this one, do you have any pics from the top of the motor and down? Curious on the clearance to the harness and other stuff in there.

I do not. It's a relatively tight fit. I don't know how he managed to pull it off and get those double shear tabs welded in there but it turned out great.

Been a while. Not a whole lot going on ither than the new BAMF IFS skid installed on the bottom of the truck. I am taking a break from modding and wheeling for a while until I can tend to other priorities higher than the truck being modified. Before I hit the dirt and sand again my main priority mods are to tube at least the radiator support and to get new replacement headlights.

I did for the 4th or 5th time replace the headlight bulbs again with the new badass Phillips H4 LED's. They perform wicked, even in hazy foggy, and rainy conditions where as everything else used to fall short and not illuminate the ground as well. They also have much much better light output over anything else I ever tried. I definitely enjoy night driving much more than I ever have in the past before. I put up a review for them with pictures and more in depth detail. Here's the link:

I converted to LED bulbs in my old FJ80, and they are crazy bright. I hope they last as long as advertised!

There should be no reason why they shouldn't last. They require less amperage to run and power them compared to halogen and HID so the only thing that could happen to them is circuitry could prematurely fail due to defective parts or materials powering it all, but the failure rate is not as common typically! I would like to see how they perform in a pair of stock projector equipped vehicles. I am going to recommend them to my dad for his 2014 Accord. See how he likes them.
