    Haha I hadn't looked at your pictures until now, but now I know exactly who you are. I walk by your taco every day.

    As kerley said, front 5100s with factory springs. I don't have the tools or knowledge to get it done myself. It would also be nice for me to learn how. Would definitely be willing to pay anyone for their time, or bring the beer. I just didn't realize it would cost so much to have them installed at a shop.

    Yeah its labor costs that get you. Shops go by set standards. So it will be something like:

    Suspension @ $63.75/ hr
    Front strut disassembly: 3 hrs
    Front strut reassembly: 3 hrs
    Shops tools, fluids, misc: $45
    1 time alignment: $75
    Total: $502.50

    Those times are set for the shops profits and the mechanics to earn commission where if they finish a job 1 hour early they can start a new one and continue that through several jobs so at the end of the day they worked 8 hours but accomplished 12 hours of work.

    Check Amazon too, you can get a lot of wheels and tires with free shipping. My buddy got 5 34in LTB's shipped to AK for free, and they were way cheaper than anywhere local, up there at least. They have my 255's for free shipping and 226 a piece

    Hey Gid, is this the process you used to install your locker, specifically removing the carrier and ring? Pulled my third thinking all I would have to do is pull the pin, remove gears, and reinstall locker. Seems pretty straight forward, just wondering if I am missing something. Already started when I reached for google/more beer. Would love your input (not a euphemism for gay sex).

    Wrong. Correct install process is to put the locker in a box, take the box to ups, and ship it to me. Then it will get properly installed into a truck that needs it more than you ;)

    Yeah that looks like exactly what to do. I don't remember what I followed but it was pretty much that. Those rings bolts require some ass. Specifically from a gun. Make sure to use a 6point low profile socket because you will strip the corners off the heads. I don't have one so I just cut the end off a spare socket I had. Also that drill bit tip is what you wanna do to get that pin out. Really as long as you can break loose the ring gear bolts then you are set. Unless you lay out the shims and stuff then knock over your table. Hahaha don't do that!!!
